Power banks are an essential everyday carry if you don’t want to run out of power while on the go. However, they also tend to be bulky, making carrying one a hassle. So, if you’re looking for a backup battery bank that balances size with capacity and charging speed, look no further than the Ugreen Nexode 20,000 mAh Fast Charging Power Bank.

Price and Availability
The Ugreen Nexode 20,000 mAh Fast Charging Power Bank costs $99.99 on Amazon and is also available on the Ugreen website.
Inside the package, you get the power bank brick, a 23-cm (9-inch) USB-C to USB-C cable, and a cloth carrying case. Its less than 500-gram weight is about the same as the slightly larger Ugreen 145W Fast Charging Power Bank with a 25,000mAh capacity, but its smaller dimensions, save for the thickness, make it easier to hold in your hand.
Charges Your Phone Twice Over
This fast-charging power bank’s 20,000mAh capacity is more than enough to charge two devices completely even with dead batteries. I used it to power up my Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ from near empty, and I still had about 5% left on the power bank. If I only had one phone, this should be enough to keep me powered for a couple of days of regular use.
One more thing that I appreciate about the power bank is that it has rubber feet on one of the longer sides, allowing me to lay it down on any surface without fear that it’ll slide off. It’s too bad Ugreen didn’t add a rubberized foot so it’s easier to make the power bank stand up. After all, its LED screen will be easier to monitor if it’s upright on your desk instead of lying down.
Juice Up Three Devices Simultaneously
This power bank is particularly useful with its three USB charging ports. In/Out 1 is a USB-C port used for charging your devices and recharging the power bank itself. It has a 65-watt input, allowing you to recharge the power bank fully in less than two hours, and a 100-watt output, allowing you to juice up high-powered devices like laptops and tablets. Out 2 is a USB-C port with a maximum output of 30 watts, while Out 3 is a USB-A port that delivers 33 watts at most.
However, the Ugreen Nexode 20,000 mAh can only deliver a maximum of 130 watts combined. So, these are the maximum outputs of each port depending on which are being used.

Of course, when you’re using the full 130-watt capacity of the power bank, it will drain quickly. So, if you want to see how much power you have left, you can just look at its smart digital display.
See How Much Time You Have Left
The Ugreen Nexode 20,000 mAh Power Bank stands out because of its color LED screen that shows its status. Powering up the power bank shows you how much battery it has left in percentage, plus you’ll see how many hours you have left until it runs empty based on the current power it delivers.
Press and hold the power button for three seconds and the power bank will turn on Trickle Charging, meaning it will not automatically turn off for three and a half hours when your smartphone or device completes charging. This feature allows you to top up your device for as long as possible. It’s also advisable to turn on this mode if you’re charging a low-power device like a smartwatch.
When the power bank charges a device, you’ll see how many watts it delivers to each USB port in real time. When you press the power button again, the power bank will show you a detailed graph indicating the voltage and amps your gadget is drawing from it. After viewing the data for a few seconds, the Ugreen Nexode power bank will initially turn on a screen saver. After about a minute, it will dim the screen and eventually turn it off to save on power.
Should You Buy the Ugreen Nexode 20,0000mAh 130W?
If you only have one USB-powered device on you and you rarely venture outside your home and office, then the 20,000 mAh capacity would probably be a bit too much for you—the Ugreen Magnetic Battery Pack with a Foldable Kickstand would probably be more up your wheelhouse. But the Ugreen Nexode 20,0000mAh 130W power bank will be an essential part of your gear if you have a smartphone (or two), a smartwatch, a tablet, and maybe even a MacBook Air. That way, even if you forget to charge one or two of these devices, you won’t be scrambling for an outlet.
Aside from that, this power bank’s 130-watt maximum output will quickly get your devices back up to 100%. This way, you don’t have to stay plugged in and tethered to the battery for hours. However, what I appreciate most about the Ugreen Nexode is its form factor. Even though it weighs about the same as other power banks in the 20,000mAh range, its compact form factor makes it easy to hold in your hand and place on your desk.
